Gympie has been on the Gymtechs run since the business started in 2005 as Qfit Services. The technicians drive up the Bruce Highway from Maroochydore, about 79 kilometres, to repair and service treadmills, bikes, rowers and strength equipment in Gympie homes, schools, clubs and gyms.
Gympie is the far end of our run, about an hour north of the workshop, so a visit is planned rather than squeezed in. One thing works in a Gympie customer's favour: a job an hour away gets the same diagnosis-first rule and the same quote as one around the corner from the workshop.
Gympie itself and the towns on the highway either side of it. The map shows the Gympie region as the council draws it: the Mary Valley to the south and the Cooloola Coast to the east.
Areas we cover:
Gympie is the town the site has always named. For the coast and valley towns we confirm each address before a visit is booked, because Rainbow Beach is roughly another 75 kilometres past Gympie.

Gymtechs came back to me within a couple of hours (same evening, on the weekend). One of the other two didn't respond and the other told me that I should probably get a new one as the cost of repairs wouldn't be worth it. We had a hiccup due to the weather & flooding, but they rescheduled really quickly, kept the appointment and even let me know when they were 30mins away.
The Gymtechs boys accurately diagnosed the problem and skilfully fixed my elliptical machine. Very prompt and friendly service and well priced.
Excellent ! they were very quick to order the part in and install it. Professional and courteous !
Stevo and his offsider were brilliant. They were quick to respond to my online request and were flexible when finding a time to come and fix my treadmill. The service was fast, well-priced and they were friendly and professional. I would highly recommend them.
John did a very thorough service to my rower, in the lead up to a long distance record attempt. The machine performed seamlessly throughout, taking previous noises, grinds and catches out of the row completely. Record achieved btw. Thanks John, greatly appreciated..

When the business started as Qfit Services in 2005, it set out to look after the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane and Gympie communities, and Gympie stayed on the run through the change of name to Gymtechs in 2021. The business is an authorised warranty and repair contractor for JETTS Gyms, iFIT Health and Fitness, Synergy Fitness, Johnson Health Tech and Rebel Sports, within those brands' warranty terms, and carries Public and Products Liability insurance of at least $10 million.
